Digging has started again. The problem with it that you never know when it’s going to end !!! On the good side of things, we are blessed with the weather. No mud !
Graham is documenting the whole setting to avoid future issues, in the case we decide to dig again here. I am just happy that water will not be coming in again, after being flodded twice earlier this year.
Finding the pipes again was already an adventure -it almost took us a full day - connecting them to their final destination just above the pond, has also been tricky because of the tight slope tilt.
But we made it at the end after 4 days of hard work. The first rain came just after we finished. Although it hasn't been as hard as during the flooding, it confirmed that the new drainage system works. Let’s wait for the next storm to see if it is also able to cope with crazy weather conditions…
